This provides the ability to operate with pure VBR encoding (variable bit rate encoding). The main task of Musepack is to obtain the highest transparency of sound.

MP4 is an abbreviation for MPEG-4 Part 14. It can also be called MPEG-4 AVC. In this case, the abbreviation AVC (Advanced Video Coding) is an advanced video encoding.
