CR2 is a graphic file format developed by the manufacturer of camcorders and cameras Canon. This means that all images made by the equipment of this manufacturer are saved by default in CR2 format (short name from Canon Raw Image File). One of the most attractive properties of images of the specified format is their high quality, even if the file is being edited (color balance, contrast, brightness change). ORF is a highly specialized raster image format. Created by Olympus camera manufacturer to store digital images taken by these devices. The name is an abbreviation for Olympus RAW File. ORF files are sometimes referred to as digital negatives. In this format, digital data from the camera sensor is stored in its original form, in excellent quality (the highest possible) and without distortion. Image storage is in its raw form. Editing an ORF file is only possible if it is converted to another format.
